"The counsellor was genuine, sympathetic and extremely helpful to me"

I suffer from Panic Disorder and have done, on and off, all my life. I read about the BeyondBlue New Access Program on Facebook. I rang for an appointment. An appointment with "Carla" in Canberra was made that I attended.

I found the appointment a relief - the counsellor, named Carla, was genuine, sympathetic and extremely helpful to me. This was my first session face-to-face, the next 5 over the phone. What an excellent service. I went there full of anxiety and left with a huge weight lifted off me and very happy. We discussed positive exercises, goals and aspirations that I felt a little more confident I could fulfill.
