I have a child with multiple issues. I received a phone call from the neurology department asking me why I hadn't responded in relation to my child's appointment the next day. I stated that I hadn't received an appointment therefore cannot respond. I work full time and have four children I cannot drop everything the day before to attend an appointment, I need to organise care. On another visit my child was having seizures and I needed to get them home however the paediatrician wanted me to urgently get something from the chemist. I was informed it was a minimum 2 hour wait! Are you serious! I feel that is a joke, and believe any other chemist would be out of business quick smart making customers wait that long.

I can never find a park and cannot park in the car park at the top of the hill as it is almost impossible to negotiate with a toddler and a child in a wheelchair. I had an appointment with a new specialist as I believe my child had been wrongly diagnosed I also had an appointment for their younger sibling as I wanted things investigated for genetic issues. I felt the younger child was completely disregarded although I had to sign medicare forms to say they attended their appointment, and with the child with disabilities was informed that testing to see what was really wrong with my child probably wouldn't go ahead as the testing is expensive!
