My child moved into the Multicap Rural View House in Mackay last year. I am a single parent with 3 children. I was very nervous about my child's welfare and transition. They are a much loved member of our family and we only wanted the best for them. I believe they have the best care and support possible.
I met with Di, the Team Leader for the house and I was instantly reassured. Di listens to my concerns and treats my child with respect and dignity. Di has transformed the house into a home. There are pictures of child and the other two housemates all over the walls. My child is happy and contented. They have a full and rich life, encouraged by Di and her team. I cant believe how happy they are and I am so relieved that they are in such good care. Di is amazing and I'm overwhelmed by her support, care and love she shows my child and the other housemates. This is the life I imagined for my child and I couldn't be more appreciative. My child is thriving, they work, they attend all their social functions; dancing, sensory circus, ten pin bowling and basketball.
