"Volunteer at Drug ARM Warradale CAFSS program"

Although I have only been a volunteer for a short amount of time and I am yet to see a client from start to finish on their journey, it is inspiring to know that I am part of an organisation who seeks not to 'fix' individuals, but that recognises and understands the differences in everybody's journey. In my limited experience I have been able to appreciate the value of the work from the people around me who are passionate about improving the lives of others by walking along side them whilst assisting them to achieve goals. The service provided at Drug ARM appears to me, to be different to many other services in the sense that clients are not told which step to take next, but instead are empowered to make their own decisions and be the leader of their fate.

I am extremely optimistic about my future with Drug ARM as a provider of quality health service and harm minimisation. I will make an positive impact in others lives.
