As a volunteer worker in Drug ARM South Australia Warradale office, I feel supported and have learnt a lot in many different aspects.
Professionally, as a social work student, Drug ARM Warradale provides a holistic training in supporting people who have been experiencing alcohol and other drug issues. Their harm minimisation approaches and interventions are client-centred and none-judgemental.
Personally, it has been a great learning curve for me in direct client contacts and working with other volunteers from different backgrounds and professions.
I really enjoy working here, supporting people, learning things, and building up my values and knowledge in AOD area.
It's awesome!
