I was booked in for colonoscopy procedure for midday recently. That morning I had a call saying that there have been few cancellations and whether I would like to come couple of hours early and I readily agreed to go at the appointed time. The reception clerk was ready with all the papers for documentation and signature and it was quick and easy. The nurse, Maxine, took me to explain in detail everything likely to happen that morning for this exercise and asked me to get ready. The doctor came and explained to me the procedure and how long it will take, etc. I was made to get ready by the nurse Sabine with all medication and the doctor asked me to relax and that is all I remember.
The procedure went off smooth within the explained time and I woke up, and the nurse said all was over and checked the blood pressure few times and asked me to get dressed. I was then taken by nurse Michelle who gave me something to eat/drink to get over the procedure. In my many years stay here, this is the fourth time I have been to the hospital and to this place, for the first time, and I must say everything was done very professionally, and everyone dealt with me with due care and diligence. All in all it was a fantastic experience and the whole thing ended in couple of hours.
