"Staff made the whole thing a pleasant experience"

About: Yarra Ranges Health

(as the patient),

Recently I went to Yarra Ranges Eastern Health for a colonoscopy.

Got there on time and was seen to punctually. Admissions lady friendly and competent.

Get through to rooms to get changed and again staff friendly ,competent and easy to follow instructions/advice.

See two other staff to check and cross check filling in of forms (no mistakes here).

Anesthetist is charming and inspires confidence.

Surgeon is pleasant, professional and explains clearly what is going to happen.

In room when I woke up the nurse was very friendly, warm and just made you feel comfortable and cared for.

It was actually a pleasant experience!

Thank you for providing your feedback on Patient Opinion and I am very pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience at Yarra Ranges Health. It is very reassuring to know that the system works well and even though you needed to see several people for your colonoscopy, that the service was well coordinated and everyone was 'doing their bit' in a warm and friendly way. That is what we aim for for every patient and it is pleasing to hear that we got it right.

I will make sure to pass your feedback on to the staff at Yarra Ranges Health and I am sure that they too will be pleased to hear that you had a pleasant experience.
