Another successful Meet and Greet Luncheon coordinated by Housing Services and held in Hornsby Park. A positive experience for all in attendance. I hope to see them continue in 2016.

Thank you SD. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the Meet and Greet Luncheon at Hornsby. Our staff learn a huge amount about what’s needed by talking with the homeless community in Northern Sydney District and have found that these sessions are really successful in engaging people in this situation. We are holding another "Meet and Greet" lunch session next week so please let people you know who may be interested, know about it. I have provided the details below:

Thursday 26 November 2015 @ 11am-1pm

Location: Beach front on the corner of South Steyne Road and Wentworth Street Manly

The “Meet and Greet” sessions are an opportunity for people sleeping rough to meet with our housing team to access temporary and permanent housing. Since starting these “Meet and Greet” sessions last year we have housed more than 100 people who were previously sleeping rough.
