About: Lives Lived Well Mirikai Residential Rehabilitation Facility OASIS – Supported Accommodation – Gold Coast (Lives Lived Well)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My experience through rehabilitation was challenging. I learnt about acceptance, tolerance and how to sit with myself. Staff really listened to me and spent a lot of time with me. I added tools to my tool box that I previously didn't have in my life.

I have learnt to love myself, how to care for myself and how to manage my life.

Hi,

What a lovely gift to have and to now share with others. Hopefully your story will inspire other people to take on this challenge and stay with the process as you have done. To be able to treat ourselves as our own best friend is a good place to be in today's world.
