"I was treated with respect, care and consideration"

About: The Townsville Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had reason to visit your hospital recently by ambulance with a fractured ankle. I was admitted and then discharged two days later. Although my treatment is ongoing my experience at the hospital was as positive as possible given the circumstances. From the ambulance officers, doctors, nursing staff and radiology staff I was treated with respect, care and consideration. Unfortunately I don't have the names of those involved however thank you for your care.

Dear Basco,

I am so grateful that you have shared your story with us, because when we read your words, it reminds us of the important things when caring for others and that is, treating people with respect, care and consideration.

Our staff are dedicated professionals who work really hard and knowing that you have experienced your care and treatment in such a positive way is a real tribute to them.

I am really happy to forward your kind words to the managers of the departments you have mentioned.

Thank you again Basco, and I wish you all the very best with your recovery.

Best wishes,

Julie Shepherd
