About: Box Hill Hospital

(as the patient),

I felt that the:

Bathrooms smelled

Waiting room smelled

Reception staff rude

Orthopaedics Overbooked

Too many people in waiting room and no comfortable seating for people with injuries

Scale and height ruler antiquated (measurement not attached to wall and could fall on patients heads)

The specialist was excellent, however.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on Patient Opinion. I am sorry and very disappointed to read about your experience and I would be keen to ask one of our Patient Relations Advisors to call you to understand where your experience actually occurred. I would also like to follow-up with our cleaning services. If you would be kind enough to email me at alan.lilly@easternhealth.org.au I would be more than happy to get some more details and take all the corrective actions required.

In the meantime, I will alert our cleaning services with respect to the odours you mentioned and would really appreciate more specific information if you would be kind enough to email me.

However, thanks for your feedback anyway, I can still pass on your general comments and thanks also for your positive feedback on the specialist - if you can provide his or her details, I will pass that feedback on too.
