"No cpap support during blackouts."

About: Gosford Hospital

(as the patient),

Back early 2015 a storm occurred on the central coast area NSW about midnight. Trees blown over, no electricity for thousands of homes including mine. I called the ambulance because I did not know how long my air lasted. It was very cold. They arrived and checked my rates ect but I was concerned for my breathing. They transported me to Gosford hospital. No electricity for miles. I arrived, promptly told - no you can't stay. My cpap is supplied by Gosford hospital and support is also. I thought the doctor looked up to a monitor in the ceiling and laughed and said no beds available they are only for sick people and said I don't care what you do go home in a taxi or find a bed elsewhere. I said I just wanted a place for my cpap until morning so I went to outpatients and waited until 6am for a bus back home. Still no power for 4 to 5 days. I now have a battery charger - very expensive I might add. I know a lot of out patients might need this service in NSW. Please fix this problem up
