"Got stitched up (in a good way)"

About: Angliss Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I headed to the Emergency Department at the William Angliss Hospital in Ferntree Gully after a cricketing mishap where I copped a ball in the face. Every step of the way every staff member was personable and professional. I was assessed by a triage nurse who was lovely. I was the admitted and the nursing staff and doctor were first rate. I was stitched up in no time. The bedside manner was very personable which distracted me from the pain of the procedure. What a fantastic bunch of people!

Dear BK

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your story on Patient Opinion and sorry to hear about your cricket mishap!

It is terrific to hear that you had such a positive experience at the Angliss Hospital. I was so pleased to hear that every interaction you had with staff was positive and professional and that you received care in such a timely way.

I will ensure that the Managers of the Emergency Department receive your story and I am sure they will share this with their staff. It is always lovely to receive positive feedback and a real boost to our staff so thanks again.

Kind regards,

Jo Gatehouse
