My son came home to recover. We all wanted to support him in this but found it really difficult to balance that with our needs as a family. I asked everywhere I could think of to get expert help for us - lots out there for my son, but we'd almost given up on finding anything for the people who love him. And then we found Drug Arm (Annerley). I went to the group meetings and had one on one counselling. I met people who understand our situation and all its challenges, and also got a much much better understanding of addiction. With time and a whole lot of support from Catherine, Momo and Monica, ultimately I got to understand myself better and the things I can change that will make it possible for our family to stick together and love each other through this difficult time. So far we're all doing ok!
