"My husband had a severe stroke"

About: Geraldton Hospital

(as a carer),

Three and a half years ago my husband suffered a severe stroke. Spending 11 months in hospital, we finally made it home to Geraldton. Through the 3 1/2 yrs we have had support services in place for my husband. The Day Therapy Unit at Geraldton Regional Hospital, have been most helpful for my husband and his needs. They have implemented many appropriate and beneficial programmes. As everyone is different, some plans work and some don't. So, we just try again. The team are very patient, courteous and understand to meet my husband's needs and the family as a whole.Wonderful people to have working with us. THANK YOU.
