(as a parent/guardian),

I presented with my teenager to the ED at Albany Health Campus recently.

We were treated by two doctors (one being a senior doctor), as well as having several nursing staff engage with us, including Allyson, Jean-Marie and Glenn.

The professionalism, thorough care, thoughtfulness, bedside manners from all clinicians was exceptional. The Clinicians all spoke to my teenager with respect and kept us involved at each step of my child's care. During our visit we felt extremely well looked after and comfortable and at ease during a stressful situation. We were discharged after several hours with a thorough plan in place and I walked away feeling very comfortable and happy to re-present if further issues arise.

I am very pleased to hear that you and your daughter were treated with such care and respect and that information was provided to you in a meaningful and thoughtful way. I will ensure that entire Emergency Department team as well as Allyson, Jean-Marie and Glenn are told of your positive experience. Emergency Departments in particular are often very busy so it is good to hear that your visit went smoothly and resulted in an ongoing plan that gave you confidence.
