"Unjust Standard of care review - standards not met"

About: Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services

(as a carer),

Our grandchild who has a diagnosed trauma related condition, as well as other medical conditions was with us for a few years. As part of these conditions we believe our grandchild made up stories/accusations about us. I should also add our grandchild did this exact same thing to the previous carers too.

We advised in copious emails to the department about these behaviours, however we were ignored. We were given no advice or suggestions or counselling which we were promised for 6 months and when our grandchild left our care were still not in place.

We refuted the claims and the assumptions made regarding our guilt based on hearsay of people who our grandchild told such stories to.

We have now learned that our grandchild is now telling the same stories about their current carers.

We are enraged. We have been put through hell and no one listened when we said the claims were untrue and that this is a pattern our grandchild starts at around 6 months into the placement.

This would have to be grounds to request the SOCR be withdrawn and our names cleared wouldn't it?
