"Disappointed in the care received."

I was admitted to the Wesley Hospital for major gynaecological surgery. I had only heard great things about the hospital although I didn't raise my expectations too much. The experience was generally good but whilst on 2 different wards I had completely different experiences. There was one outstanding nurse throughout my stay however, I was actually very disappointed with the lack of care and compassion from most of the nursing staff that I saw. My consultant was the most compassionate of everyone which made me quite sad considering it's meant to be core to what nurses do well.
