"Staff were fantastic and non judgemental at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital"

About: Royal Prince Alfred Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter attended emergency department with her artery in her wrist ruptured, the artery was tied off. She had a drug addiction and had been abusing her body for years.

The staff at the hospital were fantastic very respectful and non judgemental. Her siblings travelled a long distance and stayed at length with their sister throughout the day/night. They were never told to remove themselves. The nurses were young and down to earth and very accomodating throughout her stay, particularly Fiona, Kate.

The doctors were efficient and easy to talk to explaining everything in a detailed and understandable manner. We organised for Chelsea to attend a regional rehabilitation centre straight from the hospital when discharged. The doctors worked with the rehabilitation centre and the family to make sure everything fell into place. No judgement was shown at all.

Great Work RPA 6EAST 2
