"Treated with respect at Ipswich Hospital."

About: Ipswich Hospital

(as the patient),

Recently I had a hip replacement and I can not say enough about the staff.  I was treated with respect from the time I entered the hospital to the day I was discharged by nurses doctors & physiotherapy.  I had my own room I could not believe it.  At my age I find it hard to share a room with a male I think the QE 11 could learn a lot from Ipswich Hospital thank you so very much.

Dear Hip replaced:

What a wonderful way to start the working week! We were delighted to hear that the care you received during your stay in our Orthopedic Ward impressed you so much that you were inspired to share it on Patient Opinion Australia.

Your feedback is a wonderful reminder to our staff that their efforts are felt and acknowledged. We will share your kind words with the ward staff and I know that they will join me in wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please contact a Senior Consumer Liaison Officer during business hours on 3810 1111 or email at wmh.clo@health.qld.gov.au.

Kind regards

Melinda Parcell

Director of Operations,

West Moreton Hospital and Health Service
