My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Townsville Birth Centre welcoming our baby into the world. My midwife, Penny, was supportive, professional (as too were all the birth Centre staff that I met) and made our pregnancy, birth and the six weeks following nothing but a positive experience.

Dear CLS,

Firstly, let me congratulate you and your husband on the birth of your baby! How delightful!

Thank you for taking the time to share with us of your wonderful experience at our Birth Centre, it is so heart-warming to hear of such lovely stories about our health service.

We are very proud of the great work that our dedicated and hardworking midwives and staff deliver to our community – hearing about your positive experience provides us opportunities to celebrate what we do well and provides us with a real boost. I thank you for that.

I will take great pleasure in passing on your story to the Health and Wellbeing department – your midwife, Penny will be very happy I’m sure!

Once again CLS, thank you for sharing your experience on Patient Opinion and I wish you and your husband happy days ahead with your new bub.
