"Reassured by an Emergency Visit"

About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We had to visit the ED recently with our young child.

The staff, especially Dr Furgie, were excellent. The caring professional attention we received was great and we felt listened to and very well looked after. We were reassured and made to feel comfortable taking them home with a plan in place. Thanks for making this situation for less stressful.

I am very pleased to hear that you were reassured by the treatment of your young child and that you were happy with the care and the plan once you had left the Emergency Department. I will make sure that the entire Emergency Department team, as well as Dr Fergie, are told of your positive experience. Emergency Departments can be very stressful and are often busy, so your feedback is very much appreciated.

We value all feedback as it helps us to identify areas of excellence and areas for improvement.
