Our child was seen in Angliss emergency department (ED) and Box Hill ED on a Friday night and taken to the operating theatre (OT) and stayed overnight on the paediatric ward 5. 3.
My husband and I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the professionalism and care given to my child and us during our experience.
A special mention to "Dr Lawrence" and the Triage Nurse "Julie" at the Angliss Hospital that night as they showed compassion and care. My child was in pain and scared and they were so caring towards them. They both acted quickly and effectively dealing with the presenting complaint.
Thank you to the ED and OT staff at Box Hill Hospital and a special thank you to Dr Jennifer and the Surgical Team, Anasethetist Darragh, OT nurses Jenny and Kaylene. The care delivered was, I feel, to the highest standard.
Our overnight stay on ward 5. 3 was made comfortable by the care and professionalism by the all the staff we encountered especially Nurse Jo (the night RN and Nurse Adam (the AM shift).
We cannot thank you enough. All the staff who dealt with us are a credit to Eastern Health.
