"Having trouble getting through to someone."

(as a relative),

My mother in law is dying. Trying to get Ward 6. 2 to pick up the phone for 20 mins but no answer.

Have had difficulties trying to get info on her or even just to speak to anyone who knows what is going on.

Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

Hello Tlee

I am terribly sorry you have not been able to reach the ward today and your resultant feelings of frustration and disappointment. I am not making excuses for this, we have unfortunately, had a key staff member on unexpected sick leave today and a replacement person could not be found.
