"Can't move around or go anywhere"

About: WACHS Kimberley Aged & Community Services

(as the patient),

I am an invalid, and I need a hip replacement, but it is taking a long time. I can't go anywhere or do anything and it feels like no one is doing anything to help me. It is very frustrating as I need help to get around, my wife needs to help me and when I stand it is too painful, so all I get to do is sit around doing nothing. I feel like a dog, that's not allowed to do anything. The doctors tell me I can't do this and I can't do that, and I can't do anything. It is very, very frustrating for me. All I want is a mobility scooter, but I can't afford one, and the government won't pay for it, even though I am poor and a pensioner. I look around and see that other people get this and get that but noone can help me. I feel like a domesticated monkey. I just want someone to help me so I can get around again and not just sit here all the time.

Update posted by Feeling like a dog (the patient)

Thank you for your response. I'm glad after so many years someone is there. The health care took 2 years to get a pair socks for my edema and no other help. I think the workers don't have experience and are very vagabond, enclosing themselves inside the building. Goodness knows what they are doing.
