"DrugARM Volunteering Experience at Warradale"

About: Community And Family Support Service (CAFSS) - Drug ARM - Warradale Healthy Options Australia

(as a volunteer/advocate),

My experience at DrugARM has been fabulous! Since I started volunteering for the Community and Family Support Service (CAFSS) program, I feel like I have learnt so much and have already started to change as a person. I've developed a more nuanced and informed view of drug and alcohol abuse, and had numerous opportunities for professional development, such as Child Safe Environments training. It's also been an opportunity for me to build people skills and learn more about the mental health industry.

I particularly love the supportive, friendly environment - the staff and other volunteers have been universally kind and engaging, answering questions and offering to debrief. I see great opportunities for personal growth here, and I'm thrilled I decided to start volunteering at DrugARM.

Dear Tricolour Beagle,

We are just as thrilled as you that you did decide to volunteer at Drug ARM! We are thrilled not just because you have chosen to volunteer your time with us, but more so because of the wonderful professional and personal developments you have made so far. Seeing volunteers learn, expand and thrive through their experiences at Drug ARM, just as you have shared above, is what keeps us staff members so motivated and encouraged to keep doing what we do.

Thank you for the passion and commitment you have shown to Drug ARM - we hope we can continue to provide you with many more learning opportunities.

Kind Regards,

Debby
