My very young child required treatment at Box Hill ED recently and I wanted to share my amazing experience. We were greeted at triage by a cheerful nurse who engaged my child immediately. The ward clerk was also lovely and ensured we were informed of the plans for my child.
We were moved to the fast track area of ED and Becky was our nurse. This lady was FANTASTIC with my child who was tired and becoming bored and agitated with having to wait. Becky spent time playing chasey up and down the halls and sitting on the floor playing cars while examining my child's injury. She made my little one feel so comfortable and kept my child entertained while also doing her job. From a tired mother with a 6 month old to care for as well, THANK YOU! You made the wait a little more bearable and gave my child a positive hospital experience.
