About: Box Hill Hospital

(as a carer),

My child cut their upper lip & bled a lot. It's always scary to see your child in pain.

We reached Box Hill triage in the evening and were seen by a nurse in minutes.

Very professional and prompt service. End of every long winding corridor had a personnel there to guide, if we were not sure where to go next.

The diagnosis by our attending nurses & doctors was spot-on. Their consult with plastic surgery dept. Before going ahead with the treatment, was exhausting at that moment, but in hindsight it was very accurate. The wait was worth it.

Thinking about it all now.... I am very relieved we stay close to Box Hill Hospital for when we need it, but I hope n pray we won't need their services anytime soon.

This must have been a really difficult time for you and your child and I am so pleased the staff in the Emergency Department at Box Hill Hospital were able to provide the support and care you and your child needed.

It will give me great pleasure to provide your feedback to the Emergency Department staff as well as the Plastic Surgery team. Displaying courtesy and kindness have been a specific focus right across Eastern Health and letting the staff know how they have displayed this and therefore impacted on your experience, will mean a lot to them.
