"Jean Marion Cottage gave me the break I so badly needed and enjoyed"

Recently my husband was staying at the Jean Marion Cottage at Narara, Gosford. It was his first stay in respite care and one that he seemed to enjoy, as much as one can do when away from home. Because of his condition, I’m not sure how he filled in his time but from all accounts he was no trouble to the staff. From my point of view I really appreciated the break to attend an important family event. Of course I would have preferred to have had my husband with me under normal circumstances, but looking back to the weekend away, I could never have coped with him, therefore I am indeed extremely grateful to the staff at the Jean Marion Cottage for looking after him so well and giving me the break I so badly needed and enjoyed.
