Accompanied my daughter when she gave birth and was present for many of her midwife visits at home leading up to birth.
Was very impressed by the service, such a great program, the midwife did everything she could to ensure my daughter had the birthing experience she wanted with minimal interference but heaps of support.
This service should be available to all women, they were so informative and supportive of her decisions, making the whole experience a positive one.
The only let down was the actual birthing room, it could have been larger so mum could be more mobile and it's a big shame there is no birthing bath, she was very uncomfortable when she sort relief in the bath.
Overall a fantastic program. Thanks Broome midwives from a happy Grandma
