(as the patient),

Recently, I was booked into the hospital for my knee joint replacement.

I would like to express my gratitude and thanks for the professionalism and care during my stay both from the beginning and during the time of my operation and recovery.

Thank you to the surgeon, the doctors, the nurses and the staff for their excellent care and in particular I would like to mention two of the nurses who looked after me during that time, beyond the call of duty, Gabby and Tayla (they both took exceptional care of me) which has helped with my recovery and I am very grateful.

I was impressed overall with the Public Hospital experience.

A big thank you to everyone involved in my recovery.

I am doing well at home now.

Dear Pushkin

Thank you so very much for taking the time to provide feedback on Patient Opinion regarding your experience for your knee surgery at Box Hill Hospital.

Having surgery such you as did can be a very stressful and difficult time and I was heartened by your comments about the whole team but especially for the two nurses, Gabby and Tayla.

I am so proud of the staff at Eastern Health and that they practice courtesy and kindness each and every time - traits we know are so important to a positive patient experience.

I will ensure both staff receive your feedback as this also helps for them to keep doing what means so much to the people we serve.
