"Eastern Health Cardiac Rehabilitation"

About: Angliss Hospital

(as the patient),

After cardiac surgery at Melbourne's Austin Hospital and a prolonged period in intensive care, I was introduced to the Rehabilitation Programme at the Angliss. The course of the programme was delayed regularly because of (mainly) health-related issues, and extended over some months - not weeks as designed. The personnel at the Angliss Rehab. and gym - Georgie, Ernie, Chris and the volunteers were 110% supportive of my difficulties and encouraged and advised wisely and with the utmost friendliness. I finished the programme, and can simply thank them and Eastern Health for giving me back confidence and the knowledge that I can cope physically, at my age, where I was feeling short-changed after difficult, life-changing surgery. Thank you for your guidance and care.

Dear Sassafras

Thank you so much for your feedback regarding your experience in the cardiac rehabilitation program at Angliss Hospital. Georgie, Ernie and Chris along with all the terrific volunteers do an amazing job in assisting people, such as yourself, to return to normal life post a cardiac event.

I will make sure your feedback gets to the cardiac rehabilitation program staff - will be gratefully received!

Wishing you all the very best for the festive season.

Kind regards

David
