(as a parent/guardian),

My 4-month old underwent an MRI at Princess Margaret Hospital. Our visit to the MRI department made up only a small component of our overall hospital admission yet it was the “highlight”. The anaesthetist, anaesthetic tech and recovery nurse were extremely reassuring and caring professionals and I felt respected & very well informed at what was otherwise quite an anxious time.

I was delighted to hear that the care and reassurance provided by our MRI, anaesthetic and recovery nurse staff helped to make the experience a less stressful one for you and your child.

From the feedback we regularly receive from patients and their families, we know that when we provide care that is compassionate, respectful and understanding, the overall experience and quality of care improves. I am very pleased to see this is reflected in your family’s experience.

I will ensure that our staff who looked after you and your child receive the feedback and praise for their excellent work. I will also make sure that we share your story with our Chief Executive, Professor Frank Daly, who will be equally delighted that your experience was a positive one.
