"My rehabilitation from drugs at Mirikai and Logan House"

I struggled with ice addiction and lost everything in my life, my house and my children. Mirikai and Logan House supported me throughout my journey with drugs and alcohol by giving me a safe and secure environment to be able to work through my emotional difficulties that I've had dealing with life's issues. I've had counselling, psychologists and groups which helped me become aware of unhealthy behaviours and perspectives that had a negative impact on myself and others. It hasn't been easy dealing with past and present but it is a comfort having the staff and support even after having completed the program and coming back for Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). I have learned acceptance and to have more confidence in myself and my ability to cope with stressful situations. I am also grateful to have completed the Parenting Under Pressure Program that gave me insight and skills for my children and how to apply them as a parent and am currently getting support with housing through the Our Homes and Oasis program through Lives Lived Well. I've just bought a brand new car and have more independence. I am truly blessed and grateful to the staff at both Mirikai and Logan house and the continued support in changing my life for the better. Couldn't have done it without all the help and support. Thankyou
