I would like to say thank you to the staff at Central Gippsland Health Service that were involved in my pregnancy and birth care. I had extremely positive, friendly and professional care all through my pregnancy from the staff in the X-ray Department to the maternity ward. Due to my medical history this pregnancy was stressful and had some complications so I really appreciated that all the staff that I dealt with were very supportive and gave us their time to ensure that we understood what was happening.

After the birth our baby required time in the special care nursery and I am so thankful to the staff in that area. Again they ensured that we understood what was happening and gave exceptional care.

Since our discharge the ongoing care from the maternal & child health nurses has been excellent. I believe that we in Sale are very lucky to have such a wonderful facility and people in our town.

Thank you to all but an extra thank you to Sue in the Diabetes Department, Danni, Lauren, Mel, Kate and Kim in the Womens & Childrens Ward, Dr Sarkar, Dr Sylvia, Dr Saba and Jill in the Maternal & Child Health team. Your care made some very stressful times much easier to cope with.
