"My child's hospital stay."

About: Joondalup Health Campus Princess Margaret Hospital for Children

(as a parent/guardian),

My child was admitted to Joondalup Health Campus last year with a severe respiratory condition. Having been a regular patient for many years this was my child's first admission in 4 yrs. After 10 hrs there we where sent via ambulance to ICU at Princess Margaret Hospital. I would just like to thank everyone who helped us but in particular Dr Katie for her awesome bedside manner in not only looking after my child but genuinely cared for my young one. After being released after a week, we were re-admitted at Joondalup and Dr Kate saw my child's name and came down to A&E and told the emergency Drs my child's history. My child raves about her. She then proceeded to put us in touch with Coach Adrian who works at PMH in the services dept. This is the 2nd person who needs recognition. Adrian is a wrestling coach after work and he told us to come training and my child is all the better for it. This man deserves a medal for the work he does for the kids. Can go on forever but I won't. Thank you.

Dear Dno

Thank you for taking the time to post about experience with the ICU at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (PMH). PMH prides itself on the values of excellence, equity, compassion, integrity and respect, and I am so pleased that we, and in particular our team member Adrian, have been able to deliver on these values for your child, yourself and your family.

Furthermore, I have shared your feedback with our Chief Executive, Professor Frank Daly, who is thrilled that you have had such a positive experience with our service.

With many thanks once again, and warm wishes for your child’s health.

Kind regards,

Michelle Dillon

Executive Director, PMH
