"Felt ignored."

About: Box Hill Hospital

(as a carer),

My mother was left reeking of urine while nurses ignored call lights to take her to the toilet.

Dear reason

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on Patient Opinion. I would like to apologize for your and your mothers experience at Box Hill Hospital. This is not the level of care that I, or my family member, would like to receive and I am disappointed this was your experience.

I would welcome the opportunity to review your mother's care in more detail and if you would like to email me at david.plunkett@easternhealth.org.au I can then make sure a full and complete review is undertaken. Of course, I would respect your wishes if you choose not to contact me.

I hope your mother's health is improving and wish her the best of health.

Kind regards

David
