My mother was admitted to hospital recently after having a stroke. She left today healthy and happy. Every single staff member we dealt with from the volunteers at reception, the doctors, therapists and nursing team was fantastic! The lady cleaning the room was also friendly and had a chat with mum. They were all very kind and understanding to my mother and I. They genuinely cared about her well being and no stone was left unturned to make sure she was ok. Along with this, they had a sense of humour that helped in a stressful situation. Our experience could not have been better.
To the loud and ungrateful fool in the bed next to her, you will never be happy. Nursing staff aren't there to serve you as waitresses, replacing your porridge with cornflakes. The way you treated the staff was disgusting and I feel embarrassed for you. Your continuous complaints and review of your health issues at the top of your voice were simply boring. Perhaps when you realise you're not the centre of the universe, you too will be embarrassed by your behaviour.
The experience my mother had could not have been better. She's lucky to have had such a mild stroke and walk out in a few days. Thank you 6B for being the wonderful people you are. You worked long and busy days and still had time to give my mother more attention and care that was necessary.
Our health system and its staff are fantastic!
