"Mirakai recovery centre"

I was suffering from alcohol & prescription drug abuse. Sadly last year after a traumatic experience in the watchhouse I lost all my values, myself and my partner. I searched the internet for help and came across Lives Lived Well. Life went on and I got my partner back as I was seeking help but just when I thought I'd hit rock bottom things took a turn for the worst. My beautiful outreach support worker Claire came to my home persistently helping me until I decided a break from the world would do me great. My mother & partner did not approve of rehab but somewhere inside me I knew I needed to get help. I was at first making safety plans that if I needed pain killers I would be transported via ambulance to hospital but little did I know that there was nothing wrong with my back. Mirikai Rehabilitation Centre helped me through not only a death in the family but also a traumatic experience I had to share with my loved ones. I stayed sober finally after many years of all kinds of addictions which I didn't think was possible and now today have the best life possible. I don't have the words to describe how blessed I am to have found Lives Lived Well as I don't think I would be here today.
