I began receiving Domestic Assistance from HammondCare since late last year.

I consider myself blessed to receive such wonderful treatment and Domestic Assistance from HammondCare, I have nothing negative to complain about.

My case manager has helped me so much over the months, researching to see which Carer would connect well with me and me with them. My case manager is a wonderful person, very gentle, kind and excellent to talk with. It is wonderful to communicate with her even by email. I am so happy with this person as my Case Manager.

HammondCare has also provided me with Pastoral Care for which I am so happy as well. This staff member visits me once a month and he spends time talking to me.

I am single and live alone, having Pastoral Care visit me once a month and my Carer once a week is so comforting and a blessing.

My Carer is wonderful, she does such a great job around the place. After the work is done she spends time chatting with me. This is so nice of her.

Thank you, HammondCare and all the wonderful staff. I am richly blessed with everyone of you.

Thank you so much for this feedback. I was delighted to hear that you are feeling so well supported by your case manager, your carer and by pastoral care. I have passed on your comments to the HammondCare at Home South West Sydney team so that they can read about the difference that their work has made to you.

We put particular emphasis on providing pastoral support to the people we care for because of our Christian motivation which means that we nurture the spiritual wellbeing of people, as well as meeting their physical and emotional needs. This is an important part of the Case Management services provided by HammondCare at Home and included in your package. We know how important this service is to HammondCare clients from a variety of backgrounds and so we are currently looking closely at our pastoral care services to find ways to extend this service to more home care clients, utilising the connections that people have in their local communities. We will keep you posted on details of these improvements.
