"My care and treatment at Merredin Hospital"

Earlier this year I was at work and I felt very unwell. My heart and pulse were racing and I was having trouble breathing. I have had palpitations before and had been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation, but this was worse than I had ever had it before. I went to the ED at Merredin Hospital and was immediately put into an Emergency bed, triaged and monitoring commenced. I had numerous ECG's and the nurses and doctor looked after me for the rest of the day and night. I have to say all the staff were marvelous. Very professional and caring in their approach, manner and treatment. Eventually, due to their interventions my heart went back into rhythm. I would like to thank all the staff involved in my care from the Doctor to the cleaners. A big thanks to Dr Mark, Nurses Robbie, Chris, Matt, Charles, Rick, Rita and Ann, Admin staff Dawn and Marlene, and Operations Manager Brenda for taking such good care of me. I am on the mend now and will require some further treatment, but thanks to all of you for support and care during my stay.

It is great to see staff from across all areas of our service have their efforts publicly acknowledged.
