"Emergency department."

About: Angliss Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was advised to go to Emergency in Angliss Hospital by my local GP, as I was experiencing wheezing and shortness of breath which I had for over three weeks prior to going to emergency. On arrival I was attended to at the desk, asked a few important questions and immediately taken into a cubicle. A very competent nurse assisted me into a gown and placed me on a bed. After only a few minutes a doctor named Jason examined me and prescribed treatment which was given promptly by the wonderful nurse. I cannot thank all the staff enough for the kind, expert treatment I received. Angliss Hospital should be proud of themselves and I for one am eternally grateful for their assistance while I was there. Please convey my thanks and may I compliment all of your emergency department for their expert and prompt aid to me during my short stay. Thank you once again.

Dear Please convey my thanks

Thank you for sharing your story on Patient Opinion. It is obvious all staff you interacted with treated you with respect, courtesy and kindness. Seeking care in an Emergency Department can be a stressful and difficult time, especially given you had the symptoms for over three weeks.

I will make sure the staff, especially Jason, receive your feedback as this means a lot to hear of the impact their efforts had in making your experience a positive one.

I trust you are well on the way to recovery and wish you the very best.

Kind regards

David

Thank you for your reply to my comments. I wish I could remember the name of the wonderful nurse who also assisted me with Doctor Jason. She was so thorough and courteous, and I felt so safe in her care. My words are really not enough to express my sincere thanks.

Kind Regards

Please convey my thanks
