In 2017, it is surprising that public WiFi is not available in the hospital. I am here with my partner while they are in the hospital for a few days and I have no way of accessing the internet. This is something that I strongly suggest you look into.

Dear no public wifi

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on Patient Opinion. WA Country Health Service utilises a private network and unfortunately due to security restrictions the public are not able to access this network. There are a number of private service providers available however this would be at your own cost. Based on your feedback we will update our inpatient information brochure to advise patients that WIFI is not available so that alternate arrangements can be made.

Just wanted to touch base to let you know that as a result of your feedback we have now installed posters in high visibility areas throughout the Geraldton Hospital advising hospital users that we are unable to provide a public Wi-Fi service due to security and network restrictions.
