"My child's tonsillectomy"

About: Ipswich Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

From admission through to pre op, theatre, recovery and ward nurses... you are all amazing and made our experience a positive one instead of the scary experience we were expecting.

Thank you Sue from pre op and the funny and real staff in the operating theatre.

Thank you to Isabel and Sharon on the children's ward. You reassured me time and time again.

Keep doing what you do.... you ARE making a difference.

Xxx

Dear reassured mum

We agree that it can be really scary for parents when their little one has to come into hospital for surgery, so it’s wonderful our staff provided you and your child with comfort and reassurance during this difficult time.

Like you, we think our clinical teams are awesome - their commitment to providing the best care possible is really inspiring. They will be delighted to hear their hard work is indeed making a difference in our community.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and we really hope that your little one has a speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Consumer Liaison Office
