"The invaluable co-ordination and service provided by a particular staff member in the Surgery Admissions Department at Box Hill Hospital"

About: Box Hill Hospital

(as a carer),

Lay Hoon went beyond her role to co-ordinate various departments at the Hospital in ensuring a procedure under special circumstances could be performed for a young adult with complex disabilities (the patient). Lay Hoon's pro-active and considerate actions enabled the patient to have the best possible care and outcome for which we were all very grateful.

Dear El Maz,

Many thanks for providing your feedback on Patient Opinion and in particular for acknowledging the efforts Lay Hoon made to make yours and the patients experience as positive as it could be.

I will make sure Lay Hoon receives your feedback as it means so much to be recognized when people do go 'above and beyond' when needed.

Kind regards and I trust the patient is recovering well.

David
