"Demoralising treatment from a Case Manager."

About: The Alfred

(as the patient),

I am a patient at St Kilda Road Clinic and am being treated for Depression.

I have had a number of Case Managers in the past and have enjoyed excellent relationships with them and found them extremely supportive and helpful.

I have just been assigned an Interim Case Manager as my Case Manager who I had had for a year left.

I had a session with the Interim Case Manager and I have never been so demoralized truthfully in my whole life.

What this person said during the session was demoralizing, degrading and traumatic in the extreme.

I tried in vain the whole session to at least mention my everyday pursuits and hobbies and the Case Manager was completely not interested and did not in any way treat me with anything like human dignity.
