Our parents have been residents of Hammondville for over 2 decades now.
They were originally living in a house located in the complex, and then a flat as my mother's health deteriorated.
When our mother passed away, Dad was moved into a nice 2 bedroom unit and has lived there ever since.
As his health also started to deteriorate, he was able to call upon the services of the 'At Home' team who had assisted in the care of his wife. This has given him the level of support that he has needed without the loss of his independence.
Now he feels that he requires more care and has taken the next step, moving into the nursing home in Bond House, Hammondville. We need to arrange this move.
We would have been lost in the system if not for the support we have received from the entire HammondCare Family.
A very big thank you to all who have gone the extra mile to assist us, making the transition to the next stage of care easy on him and us.
