"Emergency department"

About: Redcliffe Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

My toddler was in the Emergency Department, I had to leave to move the car to the parking lot. When I returned, I was made to wait 5 minutes before I was escorted to a side entrance. When I was inside, I said to the nurse that the rules had changed since the last shift. Without so much as one word, I believe she told me I was being disrespectful to her and ordered me to leave. Then some security guard jumped in saying how he heard me being rude and disrespectful to this nurse. I had to apologise to a nurse that is obviously very unhappy and discontented in her choice of career to be allowed to go to my screaming toddler. These people demand respect and offer none in return. My child was born here and I have nothing but praise for hospital and staff except for these two individuals.
