I had an angiogram and at the time also had cardio loop recorder inserted, which after five days was removed by GP. It was inserted into left breast which became swollen and bruised. When the dressing was taken down the wound was gaping and 'the monster' had to be removed. I required packing into 8.5cm hole every second day for two months.
Poor follow up from hospital and cardiologist.
