"Giving birth at the Angliss"

I am writing to you in regard to the care given to me during my stay at The Angliss earlier this year.

I was admitted initially to commence my induction to deliver my first baby. I didn't deliver our precious baby until late in the following evening.

The high level of care that I received from the moment I was admitted til I was discharged just blew me away. All the midwives had my interest at heart and always put my baby and myself first. The midwives were so patient with any concern I had, whether it was getting me through the pain from labour to breastfeeding.

I just want to point out also that all the midwives passed on the same breastfeeding technique when I needed some assistance. I was never confused about the technique I had to use as it was universal from all midwives.

My husband and I noted down all the names of the midwives who looked after me. I want to highlight these nurses to you, as they are clearly proud and happy to work on 3 EAST. The care they gave me was truly outstanding.

Congratulations to you Edwina and also the NUM of delivery suite (I am unsure of her name, I apologise) for having such an amazing team of nurses and midwives on your floor. It is obvious to me that you have created a comfortable working environment as the staff morale seems positive, as this shows through the care delivered.

I am looking forward to coming back to The Angliss for when I am having baby number 2.
